Cubbies in some trouble considering Lester is their best pitcher. Arietta is no where near as dominant as his 2015 run....especially on the road. And Hendricks has come back to earth. Maybe the goat lives.

while I thought Cleveland was going to win the series just because Cubs youth and streaky, Cubs are still very well in this thing. Kluber is not good on short rest, so Cubs could easily take next two games and Cleveland can not afford to get into a shootout with the Cubs. That being said they can score 8-10 any given night.

My my money is on Cleveland but it's far from a shoe in.

Thx Ty, I'm sure gonna miss bases when this series is over. My books from the 70's and early 80's were right, bases the easiest to make coin. For anyone reading this thread, we got another "history repeats itself" tonight. Bauer beat Arietta 6-0 last year. Ring a bell......ding,ding,ding? And one more tidbit for the guy that laughed at my suggesting Merritt might pitch Game 4......AP reported this a.m. that Salazar would be "available for relief of Merritt in Game 4," LOL. Ya can't make this shit up. GLTA, get that book's damn money!

I gotta tell ya, first, I did not make a series wager. Second, after what I saw last night, some folks better start taking the All-Star game more seriously. Because, I don't see the Cubs in 5, you can put that baby to bed. This thing is going back to Cleveland for at least a Game 6. And THAT Game 6 might be for Cleveland to win it all. I'm liking Bauer tonight more and more as I look it over. And these guys giving me shit about Merritt pitching in Game 4, I never have laughed going to the Bank, only smiled with joy. That kid pitches, Cubs won't know what to do with him. And if Salazar is gonna be his reliever, look out, Tribe takes a game at Wrigley. It could happen, just saying.
