There's been some crazy delays going on with bitcoin right now on the blockchain... last sat I sent from my blockchain address to coinbase and it took 5 hours for a confirmation..whatever, no biggie.
I did another one yesterday and it's now going on 24 hours and I'm still waiting.. been reading it could take anywhere from 1-7 days, and if it's still not confirmed by that point, the money will just go back to your blockchain wallet and you have to start the process all over.. been reading that if you increase the fee you pay at blockchain , a miner is more likely going to pick up your transaction and "process it"... read nitrogens been having the same issue with payouts because of it, they're being delayed..

just a heads up to fellow rxers that use Bitcoin!

Dont do what I did and take it for granted you'll get your Bitcoin within a half hour like you have 100 times before and schedule your truck payment for 2 days later figuring you'd have it by than lol

I think it's because more & more people are using it & have read/heard that the length of processing-time on some sites have increased...

Davey or anybody...keep us updated on the length of your latest transaction. And just to confirm (and I'm a bitcoin nOOb) but the delay is with blockchain and not with Coinbase, correct?

to avoid all this all you gotta do is before you send from your blockchain, change the fee to a higher number .. it will give the miners more incentive to process yours and you'll cut in front of everybody and have it done in the normal time... I wish I knew that before I sent it to coinbase, now I know! Any wallet you send to is going to be delayed not just coinbase

when i check the pending transaction on my coinbase its showing me i paid a fee of 0.00012430 on blockchain which converts to .083 USD ... it's less than a penny... if i gotta give these cats a quarter or something for the peace of mind knowing i'll get it on time like normal than so be it

i circled all the steps you have to take in order to change the fee from your blockchain wallet for anybody's thats unsure.. I'd just hate to see anybody else get there money stuck like mine for the time being... Mines only a couple hundread dollars, ill get it eventually.. theres people with thousands just stuck in limbo right now, prob a very uncomfortable feeling

Betballer proved to be quite fast with btc payouts (from what I read at least), a lot of good words about them on other forums.

Damn I thought it was bad last Saturday when it took a couple hours. It's never taken that long since I've used it. Typically it's 5-10 minutes.

Ahhh nice read on the fees and blockchain Davey. Thanks for that info makes sense.

i just did another withdrawl from blockchain to coinbase and upped the fee this time to a quarter and it literally arrived in my coinbase account in under 10 minutes ... not sure if the delays are still happening or if i even had to do that, but i did and it worked fast as hell lol
