Lol...did you see ticket prices? $250 is (semi)reasonable and just a night out for some. And at some places food and drink is included. It's crowd control and free market capitalism.

Let me get this straight. You think it's semi- reasonable to pay that much to get into a bar so you can get gouged more for a few beers? I realize the cost of living is higher there than here but, gee whizz.

You can’t have “deals” like that in the city of Chicago when the CUBS ARE IN THE WORLD SERIES. It is nearly impossible to do. Chicago bars are not like Cleveland bars. Much different scene here. Bars would be overflowing with morons, there would be no control, there would be a shit ton of fights, everything would be chaos & out of control. Money controls crowds. If you don’t have the $ or don’t want to do it, then so be it. You aren’t a loser for paying $100-$250 to enjoy a memorable evening. It all depends on you perceive things and how you live your life. That simple. I don’t blame the bar owners one bit. It’s a smart idea by the city and by them. Does that sound ridiculous? It may to you, but not to me. No DEALS will be cut this weekend. It’s their time to capitalize on this moment.

SAL I think that's crazy better stay at home.Have friends & family over .Have great party under $250.If owners get $250 per head. They should throw out nice table free food. If people got $$$$to waste go for it. $250 can be spent better in my opinion .Then if he don't gives any drink specials. Its another $50-75 &stop..Smart über or taxi home anither$50. Your afound$375 YIKES.Thats 3days of bets for me

100 is more reasonable. But, to pay 250+ for a memorable evening is ridiculous to me. I suppose that Is why most people are in debt as they want to live the lifestyle. All to you if you can afford it. I could but I would never pay out that kind of money on a regular basis for a reasonable night out. I suppose this situation is different as the Cubs have been waiting for this a long time, but just to get in 250.. I'd pay the extra to at least get the seat to sit on so why memories aren't behind some bars.

$250 cash or can put on credit card? We all know how many people put stuff on CC and pay minimum amount. If you are a Cubs fanatic why not grease the card and be part of history?? Logically not best idea but are fanatics logical?
BOL to all wagers tonight on game.
