If the Eagles are looking for some wide receiver help, all they need to do is give Terrell Owens a call. The 42-year-old former NFL receiver says he's "available" if Philadelphia wants him.
Although Owens hasn't played an NFL snap in six years, at least one Eagles fan thinks that T.O. would be an upgrade over what Philly currently has at receiver.
During the Eagles 29-23 overtime loss to the Cowboys on Sunday, six of Carson Wentz's 11 incompletions came because his receivers dropped a pass. That performance led to a fan on Twitter asking if T.O. would be interested in returning.

Hey @terrellowens, think you would want to come out of retirement and help the Eagles? How about you @ochocinco?

Less than five hours later, Owens answered the tweet with one word: Available.

Sure, he's 42, but at this point, Eagles fans are probably figuring he can't be much worse than what Philly has now. The last time Owens was on the field came in 2010 when he was 37. In the final year of his NFL career, T.O. caught 72 passes for 983 yards and nine touchdowns while with the Bengals.
Although the Eagles probably have no use for Owens, they need to figure out something because the team's passing offense is ranked 29th in the NFL. The Eagles are just one of four teams in the league -- along with the Bills, Texans and 49ers -- averaging under 210 passing yards per game. That's not exactly a group you want to be mentioned with.
This isn't the first time Owens has said he can still play and it probably won't be the last. The former Cowboys, Eagles, Bengals, Bills and 49ers receiver said in September 2015 that he was trying to convince the Cowboys to bring him back.
The downside for Owens is that if he were to return, he wouldn't be eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame until 2022. The wide receiver was one of 15 finalists for the2016 class, and will be on the ballot in 2017 -- unless he decides to return.
