What do you guys think for picks this weekend?? A lot of MMA action...

Bellator 163

Phil Davis -250, sucks to lay that much, but Phil Davis has fought all the top light-heavyweights in the UFC, and is now the big fish in the small pound of Bellator. The current 205lb Bellator champ last defended his title against Tito Ortiz, that tells you all you need to know about the difference in competition.

UFC Fight Night 98 - Sat night

smaller plays:
Ferguson to beat Dos Anjos +130
Ricardo Lamas EVEN
Beneil Darish +125

I know nothing about Bellator, how is the current champs take down defense?

Davis just a grinder really. Doesn't have much outside of that but if the guys last title defense was against Tito Ortiz then the comp must suck at 205 over there.

How did Davis look vs King Mo? That's a good win.

edit: line up to -280 to -300 in most places, probably won't touch it.

Good call on getting the best of the #

Charles Oliveira weighed in as a lightweight for his featherweight bout with Ricardo Lamas

The Brazilian marked 155 pounds on the scale on Friday, surpassing the 146-pound allowance for non-title featherweight bouts by 9 pounds.

Despite the significant weight difference, Lamas, who weighed in at 146 pounds, has agreed to take the bout at a catchweight, and Oliveira will now have to give 30% of his purse to Lamas

This is the 5th time Oliveira misses weight in his six-year-long career with the UFC.

That's the key to the fight... Davis taking him down and grinding out a victory. I've have actually never seen McGeary fight, but from the reports/previews that I've been reading his takedown defense is very suspect.

Wow, that is the 4th time Oliveira hasn't made weight. What an idiot at McD's haha.

McGeary TDD is suspect because he's the type of guy that will let you take him down to his guard because he's 6ft6in and has a nasty triangle game (got Tito with it), has as many subs as KO's, and is undefeated. I like Davis and he may be able to dominate and out wrestle and possibly KO Mcgeary on the feet, but I'm not laying it. Little value in Liam IMO. Enjoy the fights...

Nice picks man!
Brave laying that juice on Phil...I thought McGeary had a chance to catch him in a sub off his back.
