I don't think anyone can argue that there is a ton of wasteful spending and You are right. I think the complaints most people have are too many people are abusing the system. If someone is using EBT to spend $100+ on shrimp and crab, that is where a problem is. That will feed for what a few meals, maybe? Yet spent correctly $100 can feed a small family maybe a week. Too many abusers hopefully won't ruin it for the families that really need it.
She is in such dire need, that she needs the taxpayers to help her feed her family, yet spends that taxpayer money on luxuries such as shrimp and crab legs, while working people who dont qualify (or want to be responsible without government/taxpayer help) arent able to just throw $102 on shrimp and crab legs on a whim.
