Coinbase bitcoin problems

So i have used bitcoin through coinbase for awhile and never had any issues. Today I tried sending one to5D about 3.5 hours ago. And after 2 hours it wasnt there. I contacted 5D and they said it never showed as sent. So i contacted coinbase and they told me "all outgoing transactions have been put on hold for technical reasons, but they will be back shortly" I asked if he had a timeframe cause I really needed this money to get where it was going by 8pm and he disconnected the chat.

Anyone else have these type of issues? Should I be worried?

It is possible that this is indeed temporary technical problem - it happens at all, so try to wait still.

You shouldn't be sending directly from coinbase to 5d. I don't use bitcoin that often, but I've never had a problem so far (knock wood). Hope your issue is resolved.

I'm.still.fairly.new.with.the.bitcoin.stuff...what.should.i.do.instead.of.sending.it.straight.to.5d?

It's usually a good idea to set up a "wallet" at blockchain or something similar. So you go from coinbase to blockchain to your desired destination. When you withdraw you do the reverse. Gives you an extra layer of privacy/security. There are other wallets out there as well.

It is also better to have accounts with different bookmakers, not one.
