Yes they are on sale....was just looking at my buddy's season ticket package last night.

StubHub has them so I'm sure they all do....$100 standing room only....get ready to drop some cash.

last night i received an e mail from the red sox and they said tickets will go on sale sometime in february. The reason i asked here was, there were tickets on sale for the 5th and 6th but not the 3rd which was telling me they are soldout or just waiting because its opening day

in years past there's been an email lottery to buy opening day tickets.

The days you mentioned are on sale already as they put the less demand April may and September games onsale before Christmas to help move them. The rest of the season goes in Jan/feb.

Economics 101: Supply and demand. Limited supply, huge demand = big price tag. You can probably get Tampa Bay Rays' opening - day tickets for close to face value.

Thank you for your e-mail.

Opening Day tickets have not gone on sale yet. In the past, tickets for Opening Day have gone on-sale through a special random drawing in February. Fans who register their information on-line are entered into a drawing for the opportunity to purchase tickets to this game. Currently, we do not have any information for 2017 Opening Day tickets. Please stay tuned to www.redsox.com for the latest updates.

The only games in April that are on sale right now are April 5-6, 11-12, and 14-16. If you are looking to purchase tickets for the game on April 5[SUP]th[/SUP], please visit www.redsox.com or call 877-REDSOX9 to speak with a Ticket Services Representative.

Keyman,I think your best bet would be either April 5-6 to see your Pirates play in Boston as Opening day is a big deal there and like people chimed in tickets for that game will go for big money and they think when they got Sale now there the team to beat in the AL.My guess is Price will start opening day and Sale starts game 2 and I think if you really want to go that is the game I would go 2 but I dont know your plans or what time frame you have to go to Boston.Anyways good luck getting your tickets and Merry Christmas buddy.

GRAVY i plan on buying them from the red sox so i can't see them being that expensive, and Porcello is pitching on the 5th

nevermind, it's in boston. go just to experience fenway.

ZJP,this will not be my first time at fenway park, but it has been a while since i been there,..as far as that plastic team we have,i'm not exactly expecting much from them
