That's a complete waste of money for digital video cables. 12$ cables are just as good.

For audio cables $1500 is not a waste of money . I do have some cables that cost over 1500 for audio for headphones

The reviews are hilarious. For the avg consumer, the HDMI cable wont matter. The $15 ones are just fine. When you get into crazy high end equipt the cable can matter. Not from a quality standpoint but from a longevity standpoint and how long the cable can be.

As for those audio cables, 100% not worth the money. Below is a study where audio engineers (its what they do for a living) replaced their high end cables with coat hangers and couldn't tell the difference.

It matters for analog audio.

Digital makes no difference and that's way 12$ video cables are the same as $1500.

But cables absolutely matter when it comes to analog sound.

And audiophiles always convert digital to analog if the original signal is not already analog so this is important

Pertaining to the task at hand, any HDMI cable would do at the lower prices. But diamond HDMI cable? I bought 2 of these just because I can.
