Kick Ass fuckin movie man. Epic ending as well. This ranks at #2 behind Empire Strikes Back in my book.

K11 - I read an article the other day that Disney is going to blow this franchise up like Marvel has with Super hero movies - Lots of spin off back story movies .....

Saw the movie on Sunday night in one of the Theatres where you can buy booze and food at your reserved seat of course the dyke beside me spills her beer all over me a 5 mins into the movie, which took a little away from the movie.

I agree with 3peet - the last 20-30 minutes were terrific, movie followed the formula pretty consistently, I liked the space battle vs the ground battle...Only draw back for me was I thought Forrest Whittaker was weak & I really like him.

If you ever get a chance to see a Movie called the King of Scotland watch it he is amazing in it

K11 - there's 4 more movies released over the next 4 years. The big piece like powerz said is the spin off. It's called the Star Wars - "Expanded Universe". These are Movies, TV shows, cartoons, etc which will branch off from the story of the core trilogy. (e.g. Skywalker, Vader, etc.)

My 10 year old thought it was cool that I was telling him who was who. Kinda cool that I was about his age when the original came out.

Having Children keeps me interested but these Marvel and Xmen movie are starting to get a little stale...Kids are in their early 20's now - so it went from watching Star Wars on VHS when they were young to the Marvel - verse unfolding while they were teenagers to Star wars reboot to day

If you want to see a good movie - Watch "Hell or High Water" - Jeff bridges & Ben Foster are excellent, good story, right balance of action and humor.....Really enjoyed it! 9 of 10 movie

It's probably gonna be a Christmas tradition now that Disney has taken over.

I liked it. Not quite on par with any of the original 3, but it was good. Much better than the horse shit episodes 1-3. Those were all horrible.

I thought it was great. I'm also biased, star wars was big in my life, if I hadn't seen that movie I probably wouldn't be working films today. This was the movie star wars fans were hoping for but definitely didn't get in episode 1 and to lesser extents didn't get in 2 and 3 either tho they were better but this one was closer to the classics we loved and if you were a classic star wars fan you walk away happy. It was darker in tone and there was little that was forced, it bridged into new hope seemlessly and answers questions most of us have had about the originals.
