The intensity is ratcheting up as the disdain grows between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather.

The boxing legend recently threatened to "slap the s--t" out of McGregor, and UFC boss Dana White has come to his athlete's defense, stating the MMA star will kick Floyd's ass when he sees him.

McGregor has no problem speaking for himself, however, and he did his talking on Twitter early Saturday:

Mayweather the idiot he is would absolutely embarrass and destroy McGregor in a boxing match. He would embarrass him and make him look like a little bitch. No i don't think Mcgregor can beat Mayweather.

But we all know when it comes to anyone & any type of fighting, that one lucky blow can always tell the tale.

Since Mayweather is smart enough to understand that small chance exists, there's too much pride at stake for him to even risk McGregor landing that one shot.

He would never live it down & not worth the risk for him...

Big difference between the striking in MMA and boxing technique. Mcgregor would have so many holes in his technique that Mayweather would have a field day, could end it anytime he wanted. Way too much hand speed, precise 4-5 punch combos would be unlike anything he has seen in the octagon.
