UNT +11 $1100/1000
UNT ML +350 $500/1750

I'm going with a bunch of random trends/angles that support the Mean Green tomorrow. First, two other big dogs that played at home this bowl season won SU. Idaho was +17 and Hawaii was +7. Now UNT plays in dallas, essentially a home game being 45 minutes away. Second trend is 3 sub .500 teams made it to a bowl this year and the first two already won (Hawaii and Miss St). I like the idea of these teams with losing records playing extra hard because they weren't even supposed to be here. An angle I like is Army finally beat Navy for the first time in 15 seasons so that was essentially their bowl game and great let down spot after the huge win.

Not worried about Army revenge narrative. North Texas beat them earlier in a game Army had 7 turnovers.

when have you ever seen a military academy play a "let down" game? It's not in their nature.

Thought I saw a stat saying every sub 500 bowl team have won their games. Not just this year.

Absolutely. If you give me some time I can give you many. I follow the MWC closely and Air Force has had it's fair share of let down games in both basketball and football. I'm pretty sure a couple of Navy's losses this season were considered let down. They pretty much lost every time they made T25.

Have you ever seen a team beat their rival for the first time in 15 years and not have a let down?

Respect the academies, but these guys are human.

is that all time?

probably, because sub 500 teams never used to go Bowling. With so many bowls nowadays, some still get to go

Only let down has been on PAT's. 4 drives, 4 TD's, 4 failed PAT's.

Yup. The kicker has been with Army for 15 years apparently. The rest of the team looks great.

Only one PAT miss but that resulted in them trying for two 3 straight times and failing lol.

Army is straight up garbage and will not be able to stop NT - I was swayed by their win over Navy when I actually posted a few days ago that no capping should be done with that game in mind. Didn't listen to my own advice.

o/u 27 -- did not actually get to watch any of this before the 2 tds in no time at all. Any reason to believe either team can stop the other one?

If UNT can slow down the option I don't see Army being able to air it out. The total is a little scary considering Army has scored 28 points and have thrown the ball 1 time in the first half. It can go either way.

IMO, Navy let down against Temple. Playing Temple the week before the biggest game of their lives against Army. They did not care about Temple.
