I have no idea whether is goes to 1 million or zero, but it's picking up incredible steam and if hedge funds start to buy in, some say it could go to 1 million. I feel like I will kick myself if I don't hold at least a little long-term. Anyone know of a good tutorial that explains how cold storage works for someone like me that has no tech skills?

Cold storage just means that you're storing your public/private keys somewhere where it's not "online" where someone could hack into them from the Internet.

Or... you are paying someone else to store them that way...

I have 1000 invested in bitcoin since August, I funded a book with bitcoin and decided to hold a grand in Coinbase if I needed more money for my book, well, four months later my bitcoin is worth over two grand and I did well betting football, so I'm going to leave it there, hopefully it goes to a million

It's going to end bad but if you can get in and out before that happens you can make a lot of money . But no question there will be people who lose a fortune one day just like the tulips

Actually it wasn't a misuse at all. Languages change and evolve over time.

more correctly, as people get dumber they have to change the dictionary to keep up with the misuse of words and phrases. The word literal means to take the exact words in context. Since dumbasses don't know the difference b/w literally and figuratively (or metaphorically) anymore they figure it's easier to switch it in the dictionary and make said dumbass feel better

much like "could care less" ... even though a person really means "couldn't care less" we just ignore it so our collective IQ's can drop 10 points and quite literally cause me grief and despair

so, yeah, you're right...by "change and evolve" you really mean we cater to the morons and expect no better in return

Yea the nfl also does this when they get a call wrong on a high profile game.
Instead of admitting they got the call wrong they just change the rule to make it fit the bad call.

Thats how we got the tuck rule with Brady .

And that Calvin Johnson TD they called not a TD that's why nobody knows what a catch is anymore

the tuck rule was around since 1999, it's just that none of us ever saw it called before

it wasn't repealed until 2013

although I never heard of it until it was called that day, I did see it used a few times after that infamous call for the Patriots

If I were a Raider fan, I would have been pissed too (although I think I would be over it by now)

Tuck rule had been in place seasons before that game. Patriots actually lost a game earlier that very season when they had it go against them when playing the jets. Nothing was changed and they didn't get the call wrong.
