I uh don't really get to my big 100% plays until the later rounds.

I'm going to take it 1 by 1. Meaning when one game ends I'll be back for the other. This is a puzzle and all of the games don't have baring on each other, but they do.

Texans in a familiar spot. First time for Brock but I think he is in a tremendous pressure spot here. Coming in as a backup qb how can you have pressure on you? You are suppose to suck. So even though he won games with Denver he was in a position that no one expected anything from him. I remember watching him at Arizona St and saying I liked his athletic ability for a 6"8 guy. But he can't do anything fabulous. Where as Conor Cook is a gun slinger type quarterback who went against a Denver defense who was playing for their coach in his last ever game. I think in a controlled environment it will come down to accuracy at the qb position and I side with Cook even if he is in his first ever start. This game has close written all over it. O'brien coaching for his job possibly, but I don't think there is a focus or respect for the guy in that locker room. Houston is trying to win this game they don't care about all that noise. Regardless, O'brien is a clown of a head coach, he never looks sure about anything. I have grown to respect Jack Del Rio and realize he is a players type coach. He also called his defense out in a press conference this week. Literally called them out to play better. But when it comes down to it 35 year old LT or not, Derek Carr or not, I can't put my money on Houston here and then look at New England whip them around like some little girls like they did with a 3rd string Quarterback( no Tom Brady). It would be a sad sad sight to see the texans advance

And what is funny about Brock is when it started to get to playoff time/ Week 17 last year...what happened? He wasn't hurt, he wasn't knocked out of the game. They were at HOME and he was benched for Peyton Manning. People forget that. Playoffs and a bye week were on the line and he was about to trip over himself and fall over if Kubiak didn't pull him for Peyton. and the rest is history. That one decision gave Brock millions and saved him from being exposed earlier and gave Denver a super bowl

2 early game ML losses. Just need one of them to erase that, it will come. I'm just now about to go to sleep. I fucked up yesterday that was on me. Usually the case for me in the wild card. I'm having a change of heart with the Giants, might be on the Packers pending this game.

Miami Dolphins +13 -125

Steelers in a historic non covering spot here. I will roll with the dog ATS here which is forsaken by me not to play the ML, but my research says ATS is the way to go here.

I was up all night because I felt like Pitt/GB both no way in hell cover. I know that for a mother fucking fact they wont both cover. If they do I will never bet the wild card round again. You heard it. My first Guarantee of the playoffs. Some WWE shit. Retirement round. I'm like 7-2 in my career of 100% guarantees in the nfl playoffs. So i'm not perfect lol But still very solid with them. Yeah if pitt covers I will play the Giants ml.

what I was working up last night is hard to believe but Pitt 0-6 ats as 7 or more point favs in the playoffs since the reformat. Yeah shits crazy I know. But that's not even why I am so confident they both wont cover. Hot teams don't exist. They lie to you. If the Giants were so hot when they won the superbowl years ago how come they lost 5 out of their last 8 games before the playoffs? But they were hot? In fact, only two teams have ever won the bowl on a 6 or more game win streak entering the playoffs. So hot teams don't exist.

I believe both win and cover today, but that's my opinion.
Home field in the NFL is a huge advantage and they as a business want the home teams to win big, because they will be a bigger draw next week when they go on the road. It's all fixed and played out before the games. Even the refs are in onit as it's all about the ratings

Not sure it matters but this year how often have we heard about favorites covering and Vegas getting hit from Joe public because they like to play favorites - not saying it will happen especially with numbers like 12x and 5x but it has been a strange year.

Both injury riddled teams lost to the spread, injuries have to be considered, both offenses were hobbled and going against top defenses on the road. It was a huge factor yesterday.

-Oakland without Carr and their all pro LT with a 3rd string rookie QB, dropoff from a top notch QB like Carr to Cook was HUGE!.

-Detroit was missing their starting LT, RT, and C (though he had been out for a few weeks previouly) and QB Stafford's finger clearly affected him accuracy wise the last four games. HUGE!

Today Miami and GB are significantly affected though not as much as Oakland and Detroit were.

As to whether there should have been a flag thrown, Allen did not directly answer the question.
"First of all, that's not my coverage, because my responsibility obviously is in the backfield with the quarterback," Allen said in the pool report. "There were covering officials there who did not rule that there was a facemask on the play. They did rule defensive pass interference, but every play is subject to review by the league."
Allen officiated two Lions games in the regular season, losses to the Tennessee Titans (in which the Lions had 17 enforced penalties for 138 yards) and Houston Texans (eight penalties for 75 yards). The NFL uses mixed crews in the playoffs, and none of Allen's other regular crew members worked Saturday's game.
Caldwell declined to share any conversations officials had with him about the Richardson touchdown.
"I'm not going to go into all that," he said. "That’s not why we lost the game. Calls are calls, you’ve got to overcome and we’ve got to play better. We just didn’t play well enough."
Caldwell also declined to say if he thought the Seahawks should have been flagged for pass interference on a long incompletion to TJ Jones early in the fourth quarter. One official on the sideline pulled a flag out of his pocket on the play and had it in his hand as he waved the pass incomplete. Allen announced there was no penalty on the play because the pass was uncatchable.

They lost by 20, gave up 200+ yards rushing, rushed for less than 50 themselves, and Stafford only completed 54% of his passes...you are blaming the refs?

Whoever Seattle is playing gets fucked by the refs. Its a never ending story and you are fucking A right that I "credit" ( not blame) the refs for Seahawks 2016 success.

I was on Seattle for that reason. Seattle is a dirty team. That is how they are coached. I dont have a problem with it.

You actually could not be more wrong. Despite a couple of high profile calls going Seattle's way (i.e fail mary), since 2013 the Seahawks have been called for the most penalties per game out of all 32 teams. This does not necessarily indicate a bias, as the Hawks play a physical brand of ball that pushes the envelope and dares the refs to throw a flag. What is interesting is that since 2013 Seattle's opponents have been called for the FEWEST penalties per game of any team in the NFL. If anything, the bias is against Seattle...

I said 2016 success...not simce 2013.

Precisely......Seattle never gets called for the bullshit that they pull when its a game changer. Like I said though.....I dont have a problem with it.

I thought the cover was in store. Well, I guess it comes down to this. Regardless this is a win-win situation for me. I either win or I start my playoffs at divisional round from now on. Wild card is pretty much a Week 18 imo, I overthink the living shit out of it acting like some crazy shit is going to happen immediately. Fuck the "wild" card. Should be called the sheep card.
