The offense contributed...a few 3 and outs didn't help the defense..QB play wasn't very good at all..

Hurts hurt Bama by overthrowing several wide open receivers down the field that woulda gone for TDs.

Alabama had 7 three and outs. I'll let that sink in for a few minutes.

Good God.

A Few Minutes isn't necessary, already Sunk In.

Hurts Overthrew the ball. Three separate times Mission of Bama Receiver, on LONG PASS, was Catch The Ball or get the Pass Interference call

which Clemson had gotten wounded by all season long

it was their Achilles's Heel, the Weakness that Saban would exploit

if he could

but he couldn't

cuz the godamned freshman qb threw the ball too far

2 other important stats...

Time of possession was 35-25 in favor of Clemson.

Clemson ran 99 plays. Bama ran 66. To put that in perspective, prior to Monday night, the most plays Bama's D had run faced was 84 against Arkansas. Bama's offense couldn't stay on the field.

losing Scarbrough didn't help Bama, they simply didn't stay on the field once he went down
4 and out
3 and out
3 and out
and a 6 play TD drive

he was having a big game, and his last two runs were for 5 yards and 6 yards and a 1st down. They lost the ability to sustain drives

don't think Kiffin overcomes that, unless he was the one that calmed Hurts down. Because the plays were there, Hurts just missed them

Yep W99 losing Bo was the factor

Hurts isn't that good a QB on throws over 5 yards well he can scramble for a few yards though

Kiffin is a loser. How any football program has hired him for all these jobs everywhere.... he's like the Cincy coach of the college world.

Kiffin, like Sarkasian, is a losing coach. Would not be surprised if the introduction of Kiffin/Sarkasian led to the downfall (gradual) of Alabama. It's like bringing a team-wrecker onto a winning team.... eventually it destroys everything.

Kiffin was made the scapegoat for shitty offensive showing vs Washington, when the problem was a bad QB with limited ability despite weapons all around him.

Very bad performance by Bama qb.....he was just terrible. Lots of respect for Watson.....guy is special and took a ton of hard shots last night before getting it together.

considering how Hurts played , you might have to Kiffin some credit for getting the offense to the title game...Saban overreacted with Kiffin.. Kiffin couldn't have made the offense any worse then what it showed.
