Interested in your thoughts here RT. From my observation, Kiffin has been made out to be sort of the designated idiot here. I don't think anyone can debate what a fantastic job he did and really, what a difference he made. In my opinion, Saban didn't treat him well- berated him in front of his players and on national TV. Can't blame the guy for wanting out.

Saban just had to get rid of him at all costs. This hurt the team IMO. Now you leave it up to a defense to carry you. In tonight's game, the final nail in the coffin was losing Scarborough. Saban, great coach but didn't seem to respect Kiffin from the get go and that killed them. I didn't see him treating other coaches like that. I think karma caught up to Nick tonight

Someone posted on twitter a remark made by an Alabama person on the sideline prior to the game to the effect of Clemson, beside LSU is the only team that looks like us...that really sealed my thought....

i read a similar comment few years ago when someone on the sideline at the oregon-osu game commented on how much physically opposing the buckeyes looked...

No worries Tide, you know you ll be back next year..I m sure Hurts learned some thing last night..

Thanks for the gracious congratulations. Clemson's OL could not hold up nearly as well against the Bama DL as it did last year, but Watson and his many playmaking receivers somehow got the job done. But the future is bright for the Tide.

RT,
Always said you were a class-act. I know that had to be a tough one to watch. There was only 1 team that could have beaten Bama this year, and it was Clemson. But Bama won't rebuild, they'll just reload, and I think Hurts will improve tremendously over the offseason working with Sark. I tell you what, he's got some serious "moxie" and the kid is a winner.

I see that Vegas has Bama as 3-1 favs for next year.

It will be interesting to see where in the top-three the Crimson Tide will be ranked in the 2017 pre-season polls. One loss does not demolish a program like
Alabama's......I suspect the beat will continue.

The Bleacher Report" (for whatever that is worth), has Alabama ranked # (1) in their very early pre-season (2017) poll......Surprise !!!!!

If anything, Bama will be even better next year. So they aren't going anywhere. Clemson met that all-important requirement of being a top 10 recruiting program for the last couple of years. But just as important was they had that special QB and team chemistry that doesn't come along very often with a college football program. And they had been there before. So I think Clemson was the ONLY team that could have beaten Bama this year. And next year will be the same way. It's going to take a top 10 recruiting program with a great QB and special team chemistry to beat Bama. That's just how it is. The only way to knock Bama off the top of the pedestal is to beat or match them in recruiting. That's where it all starts.

Lol Dabo don't need your congrats. They whipped that ass. That's what ya get signing 20 five stars a year. No passing qb gonna sit and watch that sideshow Hurts. Transfers and early departures for the NFL. Good luck next year when Saban hosts celebrity rehab season 4. I hope Auburn has some random good year too

Auburn is bringing in Baylor transfer Stidham too. He's the real deal. It could be an interesting season for the Barn next year if Malzahn doesn't fuck it up.

Great game last Monday. Watson is a special talent. Who takes his spot next year?

Funny thing about Stidham is he said his relationship w/ the OC was a key reason he chose Auburn....now he's off to UConn as their next OC (and why did he take a $250K pay cut to go to UConn??).

That did seem like a very odd move. P5, SEC coordinator leaves for power 5 northeast team/basketball school. That's a head scratcher unless he just wants to run his own offense, his own way. It would allow him to grow more.

He's a great player that should thrive there. Here's to hoping he has that immediate impact Camp Newton did. Auburn is a funny team, seems like once every 5 years they have a great season

Odd move for sure. I'd bet it's because either an issue with the wife or there's ncaa trouble brewing. Lashlee is running from something

new year, new barn JUCO qb. johnson was supposed to win a heisman, john franking III was supposed to be the perfect fit to drive the Gus Bus, Sean White was the next Drew Brees....yada yada yada

only thing more exhausting then the next great barner QB is a tennessee fan promising that THIS is the year they beat Bama...they do know how to talk in the post-season but are MIA sept-dec.
