After several days of deliberations with my Senior RX Forum Adviser (lol), it was decided to tweak this game of ours. The only thing that isn't tweaked is our one and only goal....TAKE THEIR DAMN MONEY!
Play-in will remain the same as in the previous thread. For your information, our record in the first week of play was 36-27-9 (W-L-C), which is one of the reasons it was felt we needed to change a few things. Here's what's new:

+ Anyone providing three straight losses is gone, see ya next season.
+ WHEN, not IF (cause I know we're gonna hit), we hit, the money will be split in half. I will ensure the hit is no less than 12K. Half the money goes into a pool, the other half is divided among the winning players evenly, except I, as administrator of this game, will receive two shares.
+ Pool money will then be used to make SU bets, we'll start at $100 maximum. This can grow as the pool grows.
+ Any player eligible for pool betting is limited to three strikes; three losses, you be gone from the pool and will collect nothing.
+ At the end of the season, the pool money will be split among all players remaining in the pool.
+ I will continue to stake the parlay even after pool play begins; I have allocated the necessary funds of my account to play parlays till the season ends.
+ NCAAM, NCAAW, NHL, NBA, NFL are all acceptable plays, anything else hit me up, I NEVER will turn down a good opportunity.

I think that covers it, I really like this concept, like it a whole lot. We spent some time on this and believe it gives folks a good opportunity to make some $$. Any questions, shoot up a post as I still don't have PM working and God only knows what they did with Betty, my avatar, LOL.

    So with that, BRING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thought the team would like this. Another RX'er and myself came up with it over emails and the phone. We win more games than we lose, same happened in bases, hell, bases, I bet we hit at a 70+% clip, so we felt it was imperative to take advantage of that hit ratio somehow, and above is the best somehow we could come up with.

    Suggestion:
Today's card is a good example of my point.
In CBB the 1st three games start early.
IMO we should scratch these 3 games for several reasons.
#1. Takes away 1 hour of capping time for the rest of the board which adds stress.
#2. IMO it is better to have this extra hour so we have more info. for the games
instead of trying to force plays early!!!
#3. I know personally I will lose 3 in a row easy unless I get this extra hour I need to wait on the info. I need to make a good pick!!!

Relax, I didn't even know there were early games, but I have a solution and I forgot this in the first post. We can play "Open" parlays whenever we decide to do so is in our best interest. Prime example would be Fridays, there's very little NCAAM action, so I envision open parlays on Fridays. And we can fill in the open slots at will, shit, we can do one play a day if we wanted to. Knew I'd forget something damnit. Doug, if someone has a hard-on for an early game, I have no problem starting an open parlay, so don't stress out my friend, frankly, I DON'T WANT stress/last minute plays. I only included NOVA last night because we had 11 plays and we need 12 to meet the goal of setting up a good pool. We considered taking all the winnings from the first hit and creating the pool from that, but I felt that everyone needs a reward of some magnitude for that first hit as you and I know, it's the hardest to come by.

Not a bad idea. I personally like Houston -9 right now Vs the offensively challenged ecu team. Whatever anyone decides tho

    My best pick.
Evansville +8 -125 looks like a close loss by only 3 points by my figures.

Damn, I was hoping no one even looked at that damn game. I had to talk Timmy out of the Purple Duds against lowly Drake last Sunday, and sure enough, Drake smoked them. This is NOT the Evansville team of last season. MO State not bad this year, your death wish Sunny, we'll play it if that's the best you can do. But the MO Valley is one conference that the money movement don't lie, and line has gone up to 7 from 5+ open.

Shit, I'm a kid in the proverbial candy store tonight, oodles and oodles of candy before me. I'll take Dayton with best player Cooke (18.7ppg) back in the line-up after missing last two games. Me likes a lot.

Not a problem, that's why they have "Open" parlays. Listen folks, would defeat the purpose of this strategy, which is to maximize return based on sharing the load, but if we decided to play one play a day to fill in 12 slots, yes, we could do so, but obviously it'd take 12 days and the hell with that. I'll carry over a day or two, but the season ends first Monday in April, about 75 days from now. I'll have a couple more gray hairs by then, lol.

Meano, you want Houston? I'll open it up to catch the Cougars.

I need to mention one more thing (just knew I'd forget a few things, guess it's early on-set dementia, lol). This game of ours is open to all except for a few individuals that I'm certain are intelligent enough not to even post. The Pool will be the first 12 (well, 11 plus me) to hit BINGO. After that, as I stated, I'll continue staking the parlay and all will continue to be welcome to that.

I like studying the games on TV that I can actually watch my play. So I studied this game on ESPN3. Remember I had the +10.5 underdog winner last night. So I like the generous points here.
