here in kansas city they have been talking about it for days, but it seems to just keep moving back and getting smaller (not really complaining). I took off work tonight, was suppose to get our at 3am and they had said it was starting around 10pm, so I didnt want to be 5 hrs into a ice storm before i got out if I was lucky. Too many hills and curves to get to my house. Watching the game and nothing has started yet. Suppose to go in tomorrow at 8pm, well see how that plays out. once it starts, doesnt look like it will stop raining (freezing or not until some time monday night).

Exactly 8 days ago at this same time and hour to the minute we were expecting to wake up to 8 inches of snow and when we awoke Saturday morning there was not anything...However at 8 am we did receive a dusting...Spent 4 hours Friday spreading ice melt for nothing....Meaty-Urologist suck for the most part...

we got a little bit last night for about an hr or two, a bunch of accidents on all the highways around here. my fiance left work around this time and made it home ok, i got out of work a few hrs later and the highways were fine, i slid a time or two in my neighborhood but was rather uneventful. its now 10pm and the start time has moved back to around 1am

LAst year in DC we got one inch of snow but it froze and turned into ice. Took me 3 hours to get home because no one expected it so the roads werent treated. Had to park my car and walk 35 minutes
