Seeing +200 to +210 in Vegas.

If bettors aren't salivating over this line like a large juicy steak, then they must be vegetarians.

Its scary to fade the pats off such a dog performance, but I have said all season, the only team capable of beating ne in ne is playing them this week.

Obvious the hfa and bellichek v tomlin, and the refs all favor ne, but i give pitts a very good chance to go in and win that game.

Giving me double the money seems generous.

I don't see what everyone see's in the Steelers? sub standard defense and outside of two attacking threats nothing in offense. BB will advice the perfect game plan and the Patriots will win this one by 10+.

I wish Roethlisberger could lose 10-15 lbs to increase his mobility...He has put on a lot weight the last 2 years.: He currently tips the scale at 246 lbs;
He is a huge QB .............

Lol nothing on offense outside of bell and brown? How about the best O line left? And a slot receiver that could start on just about any team in the nfl. Eli Rogers

Not sure why one would be so confident about this. NE's home record is ridiculous, Brady's record vs Pitt is ridiculous, and Pitt's offense was dreadful in the endzone -- which is right up the Pat's alley as the #1 scoring defense.

The Pat's match up well vs the Steelers... McCourty can provide safety help on Brown with Ryan, or they can use Butler who has given as good as he has gotten vs Brown. The Pat's are a good run defense and that is an area where they have played a lot of talent this year. They haven't played a lot of good QB,s but BB has handled Big Ben throughout his career.

I am not saying it is impossible. Pitt has explosive offensive talent. But a ML lock for Pitt? I would want a bigger return on that than 2-1 -- the Pat's are 50-1 in their last 51 home games vs AFC opponents.

Quoting so I don't repeat any of those points. The Steelers are 1-5 against the Pats since 2010 with that one win coming at home in 2011, around six years ago with completely different rosters so that game probably isn't even relevant. Sure, I want the pats to win the game, but from a capping perspective there is no way in hell this is a "lock" or slam dunk at Gillette. I'm not disrespecting PIT, I think they are a great team. But let's call it like it is. Throwing the word "lock" against the Pats this year at Gillete is just as disrespectful. Can PIT win outright? Sure, small chance. Lock? Nope. You don't "lock" in money line bets against teams with equal or better power ratings (however you do yours, they should be close) on the road. Ultimately it doesn't matter because when people post stuff like this, if the team wins they come in to tell everyone they are the next coming of handicapping gods and when they lose they just dissapear. I'm not saying you're that guy but you kind of had it coming with your title.

Pittsburgh may win but their chances are like 30%. At +240 I'd be interested.

Exactly. I was thinking +250 but close enough. Going to need more than +200 for me to put money on PIT ML away when they haven't shown me anything in match-ups against the Patriots.

Let's be real. Pat's D is overrated. They faced 7 of the 10 worst offenses this year in 49ers, Rams, Texans, Browns, Jets to name a few. When they faced a top 20 offense, they lost at home to Seattle. Well, Steelers have a far superior offense to the Seahawks with the best WR & RB in the league and a HoF QB. Big Ben has played well against the Pats, he's thrown 17 TDs, 6 ints while posting a 95.4 QB rating in 8 career meetings. This game has the same feel as the Jets a few years ago when no one gave them a chance and Sanchez went in to Foxboro and tossed 3 TDs in a dominant Jets victory. Except this time they don't have their best weapon in Gronk.

And there's no big difference between 200 and 250. You're talking ½ a point on the spread.

You think there's a big difference between 6 and 6.5 spreads? That's what 200 and 250 MLs are, respectively.

Already down to 5.5 in Vegas.

How exactly would the steelers ML be a lock? If anything the Patriots ML is the safer bet

Why don't you ask the Bama ML and KC ML backers who told me the same thing when I said Clemson ML and Pitt ML were locks.

Havent decided what to bet yet, but it's kinda of funny how the Pats win by 18 and it's considered a bad night. Not saying that they will win, but that's a pretty good team.

Ithink

argument can be made 3 elite lines are still standing. Atlanta, Packers, and Pitt, Pitt probably being the front runner of an elite trio.

That said, Steelers have an unbelievable offense, unbelievably good. I do think Pats win this game, just not sure about the cover Steelers could win this game outright. Doubting it happens due to Big Ben's play on the road past 2 years, and Pats having 1 loss at home in the playoffs in the Brady era.

There defense is plenty capable of containing the Steelers to something like 24 points. Brady should have no issue hitting passes against those inexperienced corners. Edelman is a TOUGH cover for anyone, let alone rookies. Steelers have an amazing ILB duo though in TImmons and Shazier which will make things tough, along with good run D and heavy hitting safeties. The corner play will get exposed.
