The Green Bay Packers are way behind schedule.
According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, the Packers' charter plane to Atlanta for Sunday's NFC Championship Game vs. the Falcons was unable to take off at Green Bay's Austin Straubel International Airport because of dense fog. This forced the team to bus 125 miles to Milwaukee in order to fly out.
The Packers were originally supposed to leave at 2 p.m. CT. After waiting two hours, the Packers decided to take a bus to Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport, which is where the team plane touched down. Because of the delay, the Packers won't arrive in Atlanta until after 7 p.m. ET.
Sunday's NFC Championship Game is scheduled to kick off at 2:05 p.m. CT. It will be the first of two conference championship games with the AFC Championship Game kicking off at 5:40 p.m. CT.
