Thank God!

I personally hope about 15 more of these pitiful bowls will follow.

I remember when going to a bowl meant something. Today...NOTHING!

Disagree! Gives us all something to watch and gamble on during holidays. Can't think of one bowl I would get rid of!

Outside of the playoff, what bowl game could possibly "mean something" anyway? It's just entertainment. Who cares if we have 10 or 50?

agree...be happy with more games, not less. let all teams get a bowl game and those extra practices. can only help the level of play for the following season. not sure how giving bad teams less practices was ever a good idea :)

I agreed some of the bowls should be discontinued to avoid a couple 5-6 team playing each other BUT why would a bowl in San Diego give it up as opposed to some of the games that have popped up in cold weather cities? Those are a miserable experience for the fans, the players and for the early over bettors.

I do like the degenerate gambling part of having more bowls. But it's probably for the best that a couple of these bowls go under. It means fewer teams with a losing record getting into these bowls. I've never liked the idea of a 5-7 record getting you into the postseason.

You are coming from a coaches standpoint....practice, practice, practice.

The majority of the players are SICK/TIRED of fucken practice and don't give a shit about a bowl that means nothing.

It's more about the new players than the older players. It gives coaches a chance to really evaluate the talent they may have to start for them the next season. Something that is difficult to do during the week to week grind of the regular season.
