Budweiser is not an american company, they were bought by inbev a few years ago.

AB-InBev is a multi-national company, ran by brazilians.

they also own corona

pretty much anywhere on the planet you go they sell beer.

Damn.

All this time I believed that Bud was now owned by a Belgium Company. Populated by Belgians.

Which I was comfortable with despite having lost a legendary US Company cuz Belgians are very talented at making Beer.

I and others I know were getting 12 Pack Bottles of Bud or Bud Light for just $4.00 and some change between December 7th or so and Dec 31 when the coupons I had expired :(

Still had 4 coupons left. :( Went Unused. :(

Began with about 44 Coupons though, gave most of them away.

Required one buy 3 (Three) 12 Packs at once.

On New Year's Eve the store ran out of qualifying 12 Packs so let me have 16 Ounce Platinum Bottles of Bud Light 12 Packs.

Thats why my posts on here were so Insane around 5am early Sunday Jan 1.

When Anheuser-Busch sold to InBev -- based in Leuven, Belgium, and Sau Paolo, Brazil -- in 2008

True. Stock already plummeting lol

They were bought out nearly a decade ago. Buddyboy is on the money about the Brazilians, as the majority of their executive committee are Brazilian. Per ML Dog, there is some Belgium influence from Interbrew, a Belgium based company who was part of the merger. Global headquarters reside in Belgium and their main managerial operation is in New York.

for a bunch of non-americans they sure know how to make their product look 'merican . didn't they rename bud to America this last summer?

they do the same thing with the beer companies they own in other countries.

they go to great lengths to remind everyone that corona 100% made in mexico

Yeah Well I personally suspected that those Belgians would do very very well with the products for just the reasons that you allude to.

Belgians are crafty Mofos. Look at Young Jean-Claude VanDamme. They're Charmers but you can tell that they are Sneaky. And Very Intelligent.

And Yeah: They did print cans with just "America" on them...as far as I know. That was before I had coupons, I usually drink Rolling Rock or some Ecuadorean Beer trying to be Corona....I forget the name of that beer. Its not very good anyways....Price Point is though.

Most recently Bud released cans with NFL Team Allegiance. Each City got issued cans with the NFL Team nearest them on the cans....along with a few cases of other popular teams such as BEARS

but BEARS did not sell well.....except in Chicago. I heard Green Bay Packers did well nationally but prolly just more Fake News.
