A former Baylor University student who says she was raped by two football players filed a federal lawsuit last Friday against the school that alleges there were dozens more assaults of women involving other players. The lawsuit by the student, who is listed in the documents only as "Elizabeth Doe," alleges at least 52 rapes by more than 30 football players over a four year period. Fifty-two assaults would dramatically increase the 17 reports of sexual and physical attacks involving 19 players since 2011 previously acknowledged by Baylor officials.

What a frecken mess in Waco, Texas.

It never ends.........Baylor just fired a newly hired assistant strength and conditioning coach after he was arrested on a prostitution solicitation charge. Police arrested the 33 year old coach at a Waco-area hotel.

To make matters worse.....The Big 12 Conference is considering withholding 25 percent of league money from the school.

Stay tuned.......

Clover: Am I reading your post right ? "Elizabeth Doe" was allegedly raped 52 times over a four-year period by more than 30 players. My God, what took her so
long to file a complaint ? A nice Baptist school like Baylor having allowed this conduct to go-on this long is unimaginable.

That Asst. Strength Coach situation is a another matter. Rumor has it that a lot of strange things happen in those motels in and around the Waco area.....Maybe he (the coach) was just trying to keep his "strength" tuned-up so he could keep pace with those 19 & 20 year-olds he is working with. We older-guys know how easy it is to lose the "razors edge" as time goes by....His livelihood depends on it.

Hang in there Clover.....Late August is right around the corner.

Thanks Mack. I lost $5500 on the Super Bowl. Can't wait until September to try and get some back.

I don't know if its age or what but I can't pick'em like I use to.

Still love this stuff though!

GH, I understand all the nashing of teeth towards Baylor's football program. A handful of men/women are guilty of some serious stuff if all the charges are accurate.

I PERSONALLY do not think Baylor is a bad university. Hell, the men's and women's basketball teams are in the top 10 in the rakings this date. Briles and his ilk have given this school a bad rep because of football and.....

Shouldn't be applied to the school as a whole. Yeah, football will take time to reverse the negative crap associated with the school.

Hell, my take and welcome other views........

It's not just football. There was a murder in the basketball program back in 2003. One player killed a teammate.

A murder......Damn; I know they play things a little rough in Texas now and then but we don't need murder's in the athletic programs. I can see this happening in the streets of Laredo but not in a nice Christian community like Waco.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Baylor still catching hell"? They should be catching hell and then some for their actions these past 20+ years. Baylor University is the definition of lack of institutional control. It's sickening what that school continues to try and hide. Hopefully the Texas Rangers will bring everything to light once and for all. I've been trying to shed light on what they've been trying hide (behind religion ironically) for almost 3 years now. Hell, Art Briles made his football players take steroids when he was head coach at Wolfort Friendship back in his high school days.

He's as sleazy a human being as you'll ever find.

Hey MACK, your boy Longhorn (repeat TEXAS LONGHORN) bashing BAYLOR is comical. WHY in hell would a Texas Longhorn be concerned with a hick team named Baylor when his own school is going through a MAJOR transition in its own football program.

Personally, I don't give a rat's ass...........Neither will challenge Alabama.
