Is national defense a right. What about law and order? Someone has to provide those services? A good civilization IMO needs to be protected, healthy, and educated to flourish. Is it a right? I'd say no, but should it be a privilege of living of a citizen living in a strong nation? I don't know? Maybe, probably if you want to number one in everything. If the fed would get out of most of the rest market place in trade of those three, I wouldn't lose any sleep.
