Mitch and Jimmy Buss out...and the Magic era begins.

Writings been on the wall for this for a couple weeks now but have to believe this is a direct response to Jeanie's question of: How the hell didn't we beat the Pelicans offer for Cousins??? We wouldn't give up Brandon Ingram for Boogie???

Not sure my faith in Magic in this role. Needs an experienced GM in there. Magic has his hands in a lot of ventures, does he have the time to go all in for this? Has to be better than Phil's job in NY. We'll see.

That's what I mean...he needs an experienced GM who can handle the load so he doesn't interject.

But sounds like it's going to be Kobe's old sports agent, Rob Palinka (??) which doesn't fit that category, but I don't know his background. Guess they're just hoping all his old clients sign with LA.

I knew Rob Pelinka's name sounded really familiar...assumed it was just from being Kobe's agent. But reminded this morning, Rob was a bench contributor for the Michigan Fab Five years, that's where I remember that name from.
