So I was with my bookie at home in New York for years. Had a great situation, never any problems. I got a job in California which wouldn't normally be a problem because of bank transfers, etc. But then he got married and his wife didn't like it so the perfect storm hit.

I have tried all of the sites over the past couple of months and they are just horrendous. I hate it. Anyone on here located in Southern California that would want to talk about maybe taking me on?

Not a huge bankroll by any means, but decent action.

If you're looking for a forum bookie you will regret it down the road, these so called bookies flame out sooner rather than later.

Wow, I appreciate the heads up. You never know how good you had it till it's gone haha. I guess I have to pick my poison with the online books then.

go to any of the so cal card rooms. the number of bookies there or people
who can put you in touch with one is quite astounding. usually on the
first thursday of every month, many casinos have a meet the bookie
night (think of speed dating). they have a separate room and each
bookie agent has a table. you get to meet your "man" and him you.
they usually have a setup where he can run a credit report on you
to make sure you are not a stiff. if you are a big player, you can
get the bookies to bid against each other to get your action.
some settle for reduced juice and others take advantage of the
women they send you. when i went, all i was offered was a
free chocolate chip cookie.

the great thing about those meet the bookie night at those California card rooms is that state law prohibits law enforcement to either set up a table or act like a prospective customer, something to do with dirty harry entrapment laws passed in the '70's.

I had no idea what happened previously. My ISP? I don't really understand how I am being pooled into that which I was told to read after posting this. But it should be from southern california through spectrum(Time Warner). Simply come on here every once in a while to look at the service plays and decided to take a stab as I was fed up with the online books. My apologies for apparently bringing up some recent issues, with some bad memories. One thing I can assure you is that timing in this instance is completely coincidental.

And for the record, insinuating that my ISP is interesting isn't the most welcoming as now it implies something more sinister is going on. I would never use anyone I found on this site after reading that thread, like I said I will stick with the online books for the time being.
