This is the biggest scandal of all time. The can control planes and vehicles to attempt undeserved assassinations. Unreal. Surprised I'm not seeing more outrage from the sheep about this.

#1. It's only Samsung Smart TVs
#2. The only way the CIA program can get on the TV is manually, i.e. with a USB thumb drive
#3. The TV would have to be connected to WiFi for anyone to get info off the TV with the installed app

"He noted that the attacks would likely be limited, in that the CIA would have to be nearby to harvest the stolen data. "Effectively they install an application onto your TV through USB, they go away on their spying business and come back with a Wi-Fi hotspot later on. When the TV sees the CIA Wi-Fi, it uploads all of the captured audio it has recorded of people around the TV, even when they thought it was off."

That doesn't sound so bad. I'm surprised Samsung stock didn't take a hit.

I've always had LG tv's. But the last one I bet was a Samsung. I guess I'm screwed.

They've got some real good stories being told while high then from my TV. Wouldn't mind having a copy of the recording for myself
