The wait for Dont'a Hightower is almost over.
The coveted free agent linebacker is expected to make a decision today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Hightower has narrowed his choices down to the Patriots, Jets and Steelers, though there appears to be an obvious favorite in the sweepstakes.

It was previously reported that the Jets were willing to give Hightower a monster deal - he wants $12 million per year - but prying him away from New England was always a longshot.
With a rebuild underway in Florham Park and Hightower fresh off the high of winning a Super Bowl, the Patriots always had the edge.
Gang Green and the Steelers are still in it, though, at least as of this morning. Does Hightower spurn his former team and follow the money?
Stay tuned as Hightower watch continues.
