Heads Up about Coinbase

About a week ago I noticed some small coinbase charges on my Bank Account. It didn't really bother me much as there were 2 with charges of 16 cents. Then I saw another coinbase charge for 6.24 and another for 6.24. Then a $43.04 charge. All together over $197 in coinbase charges. Now I haven't used Bitcoin or Coinbase in over 3 months. I still have no idea why or how these charges were taken out of my bank account. I called BofA and reported the fraudulent charges and they refunded my account. Just a heads up on some shady ass shit from Coinbase.

damn bud, that is concerning.....charges showed up just like a normal coinbase transaction?

seems strange since their wallet service is free. there are definitely fees for transactions and conversions but never saw one just for holding a free wallet account.

(might be how your account is set up? i highly doubt they are trying to get you on some "shady ass shit")

Yeah, dude. It says cheapside Coinbase on my bank account. I haven't used it in 3 months. No reason for any charges to be on there.

I can't iimqgine it's wing set up any different. The charges are for random amounts as low as .16 cents up to $43. and in between probably 10 in all. Very strange. I emailed them and never heard anything back from them.
