As a lifelong Gamecock fan I was just wondering if I'm being paranoid or are my concerns against Florida legit? My opinion on our team is that the Florida guards are a tough matchup for us. Our defense is predicated on playing great on ball defense. We seem to break down as most teams do when we allow penetration from the guards. Florida has great athletic, quick guards. Our success today in my opinion will depend so much on stopping their guards from beating us off the dribble. If we do that I think we have a good chance at winning, if we don't, we could be in for a long day. I won't be betting on this game but just thought I'd give my thoughts and see what others had to say. Good luck and Go Gamecocks!
T, I've listened to him talk for years and I've known for a long time that not only is this guy a great coach, he is a great person, and one of the most real and straight forward men you will ever hear speak! Everything he talks about and believes in he does it with such great passion. Win or lose today, I'm extremely proud of this team and happy that more of America has gotten to see what Frank Martin is all about.
