Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired a broadside at so-called "sanctuary cities" Monday, telling reporters local policies of noncooperation with immigration authorities are "dangerous" and will cost communities federal funding.
In the Trump administration's most pointed warning yet, Sessions said federal law allows withholding of federal funding to sanctuary cities, and signaled that such measures will soon be taken. Sessions, who took the podium at White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer's regular media briefing, warned of a pending crackdown by the administration.

"Such policies cannot continue," he said. "They make our nation less safe by putting dangerous criminals back on the street."

This should work at well for most all sides.

The cities involved believe the overall economic contribution of the (federally) targeted population is much higher than the potential loss of federal funding accessible by Sessions.

So he can help lower federal spending, the cities are not impacted negatively by forcible removal of tens of thousands of working men & women and familes are kept intact

Unfortunately places like San Francisco and San Jose have enough money without the feds. Both mayors hold strong to the ideal. My state couldnt be more f*cked up

Yep, you got that right. What area of CA do you live?

I've found about the only thing we can do to combat it is to reduce our taxable income. That way the bleeding heart Liberals can be the ones that pay the taxes for this bullshit. As mentioned earlier, we'll be leaving the state within the next two years and renting out our 1070 sq. ft mansion to some sucker for $4k a month.

Well all those Mayors and elected officials probably get bargain prices for their drugs, so who can blame them?

I am in Marin. I want to leave and maybe go Nevada so no state taxes but I have my dad here and he isnt going anywhere so I cant leave completely. I am in the trades so the money is here so that is a factor too. SF is just a goldmine for us contractors but I cant handle the commute every day so I limit my jobs there.
