Snowballs Chance MLB picks

Hello again guys. I had a thread a few years ago with my MLB picks that ended up pretty decent. Its a long season and it was a grind so I got away from it the last few years. Actually haven't bet much on Baseball since then but I figured I would give it another go. So here it is.

No secrets to success, no systems other than a really good team that loses a few in a row is bound to break through and a really bad team that plays out of there mind for a week will come back to earth. Other than that, is mostly pitching matchups and the field its played at.

With that said, you probably don't need me to figure out most of this stuff. lol.

My cubbies lost yesterday

So the Cardinals assumed sole possession of first place for the first time since the conclusion of the 2015 regular season! That might prove to be a fun race this year.

I felt good about the Tigers today but the game got postponed. That's too bad. Could have started the year with a 3-0 day.
We'll take 2 wins tonight though and get ready for tomorrow.

BTW I am wagering enough to win 1 unit unless otherwise noted.

I like this because the 2 and 3 hittes for AZ have had great success against Moore, who the Giants are throwing out there today. Conversely, the Giants have very little experience in facing T. Walker for AZ.

First of all, DITTO to the comment above. Lots of success against Salazar including OPS over .970 and Cle has a collective .222 avg against hammels.
Second, Texa is a pretty good team and its hard imagining them getting swept at home to open the season.

got 1 out of 2 yesterday but with the plus money we still came out ahead.
It was a pretty bad beat with Cleveland hitting a GS and getting one more acrossto take a 2 run lead in the 9th. Without that collapse, the pitchig match ups played out perfectly with the Rangers getting to Salazar, and the Diamondbacks getting to Moore.
We will take the profit though and head into today +4.09 units after 3 days of play.

Toroto -122
A solid pitcher in Stroman for the blue jays, with a lineup that has a lot of pop that gets to go up agains a rookie making his first ML Start. Theres value here.
Phillies +100
A very similar scenario, minus the pop in the lineup for the Phillies. I will take a veteran pitcher in Bucholz taking on a rookie. Its at even money, so why not?

John Lackey against his former team, and Lance Lynn who the cubs seem to handle pretty well

Miguel Cabrera, JD Martinez, and Victor Martinez are a combined 50 for 141 against James Shields, who plays for the Whit Sox, and they suck...
Tigers -119 seems to carry pretty decent value.
