Solis Tek Applauds California Pesticide Ban for Cannabis Cultivation

    PRESS RELEASE Marketwired
    [COLOR=#9B9B9B !important]Jan. 22, 2018, 08:00 AM

CARSON, CA--(Marketwired - January 22, 2018) - Solis Tek Inc. (OTCQB: SLTK), a vertically integrated technology innovator, developer, manufacturer and distributor focused on bringing products and solutions to commercial cannabis growers in legal markets across the U.S, today commented on the California Bureau of Medical Cannabis Regulation's new regulations announced on January 1, 2018, banning the use of a long list of pesticides in cannabis cultivation for medical and adult-use industries. This list represents the most stringent in the country to protect users from ingesting cannabis with harsh chemicals, heavy metals and other properties.
"Solis Tek applauds the California Bureau of Medical Cannabis Regulation and encourages other governing bodies in states with adult- and medical-use laws in place to take the same responsible look at how flower is being cultivated with an eye toward protecting consumers," said Dennis G. Forchic, Chief Executive Officer of Solis Tek.
Mr. Forchic continued, "Having served this industry for nearly a decade, Solis Tek recognizes there is a better way for cultivators to increase yield, protect their crops, enhance their product and ultimately grow healthier plants. This is possible using all-natural products made with organic compounds that are devoid of any banned pesticides, animal by-products, heavy metals, chemicals, or strong odors. These are the types of products that Solis Tek is committed to creating to serve the growing cannabis sector, which is projected to reach $3.7 billion in 2018 in California alone."
"In response to welcomed changes in regulations in various states like that of California and the anticipated tightening of regulations as more states legalize cannabis, our Zelda Horticulture division is developing rigorously tested, all-natural products that provide new and alternative solutions to many of the banned products which have been previously utilized by cannabis cultivators. For example, our first product, Terpenez, provides a safe, effective and regulatory-compliant solution for growers in legal markets both in the U.S. and internationally to enhance their plants' terpene profile," Mr. Forchic added.
Mr. Forchic concluded, "As a response to the new California ban, Solis Tek is aggressively targeting the hydroponic stores in the Golden state, most of which carry our lighting product solutions, that now are replacing banned products on their shelf. Retailers and commercial growers alike have made clear their desire for Solis Tek's products under development, in beta testing, and nearing national launch, all of which contain NONE of the California banned products."

Top Adult Use and Medical Cannabis Cultivator Significantly Increases Yield with Solis Tek HID Lighting Systems

    BY Market Wire
    — 8:00 AM ET 01/31/2018

CARSON, CA and LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwired) -- 01/31/18 -- Yield, consistency and quality are the key elements to successful commercial cannabis operations. For one of the nation's leading cannabis cultivators, GB Sciences, integrating Solis Tek ( SLTK

) HID digital lighting systems into their cultivation facility has helped them achieve record yields in their most recent grows.
"Building out a state-of-the-art facility was key to our cultivation strategy, and a large piece of that is making sure you have the right lighting solutions," said
Kevin Kuethe, COO of GB Sciences. "The Solis Tek ( SLTK ) fixtures and lights have enabled us to put our plants on a nutritious 'light diet' that closely mimics sunlight, which has enabled us to increase yield. Our heaviest yields to date are from one of our most popular strains named
Jenny Kush that yielded just over 2 grams per watt of finished, trimmed, cured product ready for retail sale."Kuethe continued, "We currently have 4 bloom rooms in the facility, each of which is approximately 1500 square feet and contains 45 Solis Tek A1 complete lighting fixtures. The facility was built to produce the highest and most consistent quality medical-grade cannabis product for both medical and adult-use markets."
    "Solis Tek's ( SLTK
) focus on science is what sets our lighting systems apart," said
Alan Lien, president and co-founder of Solis Tek ( SLTK ). "As the first company to market a light diet which most closely replicates the cycles of the sun as well as developing other key safety regulations in the industry, we understand the needs of commercial cultivation facilities. In the case of GB Sciences, their approach to cultivation is unparalleled and we are proud to be an important part of their cultivation strategy."In a recent third-party study of the top five leading cannabis lighting systems, Solis Tek's (SLTK
) A1 digital lighting fixture proved to have the best light energy and spectrum output, providing the highest intensity light spectrum to the canopy and floor, and a more consistent lighting footprint. The study found that Solis Tek High Intensity Discharge (HID) lights helped commercial growers avoid hotspots, creating a more even canopy, where no one plant grows taller and overshadows other plants. This helps cultivators - hobbyists and commercial growers alike - create the best environment to increase yield. To be added to the Solis Tek ( SLTK
) email distribution list, please email SLTK@kcsa.com with 'SLTK' in the subject line.About GB Sciences, Inc.

Got a starter in the MJX etf today. These companies all seem to be hit or miss so id rather have a basket vs an individual stock. Sector as a whole is a winner but dealing with these microcaps are a crapshoot

I was impressed how it held up as well. Looks like the bounce back is coming as we are at 1.38 as I type this. Brucefan saved me alot of dough by introducing this stock to me because it caused me to sell my SLV stock to buy this one which I was on the fence about. Thanks Brucefan!

No problem, but dont stay out of SLV too long! Expecting nice moves there too later in the year . Things at SLTK are going very well.

As you can see, we were outperforming the index until this last nasty pullback. Look for SLTK to outperform going forward

Solis Tek Announces Appointment of Co-Founder Alan Lien as Chief Executive Officer

    MarketwiredFebruary 15, 2018

CARSON, CA--(Marketwired - February 15, 2018) - Solis Tek Inc. (SLTK), a vertically integrated technology innovator, developer, manufacturer and distributor focused on bringing products and solutions to commercial cannabis growers in legal markets across the U.S., today announced that its Co-Founder, Chairman, Chief Financial Officer and President, Alan Lien, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Lien replaces Dennis G. Forchic, who has been removed both from his role as CEO and as a member of the Board of Directors due to a difference in strategic outlook that was incompatible with the majority of the Founding Directors' plans and expectations for the Company.
Alan Lien founded Solis Tek in 2009 and served as the Company's CEO through 2016, at which point he was appointed Chairman of the Company. Since co-founding the company, Mr. Lien has been responsible for leading the manufacturing, development, and sourcing of Solis Tek products, in addition to the Company's sales and operational strategies. In his return to the CEO role, Mr. Lien will be focused on driving revenue growth by launching new products and expanding into new territories.
Alan Lien, Chief Executive Officer of Solis Tek, stated, "Over the past several years, Solis Tek has established a name for itself in the emerging legal cannabis industry and as we navigate Solis Tek through this transformative growth period, it is of utmost importance that the strategic outlook and expectations of the CEO are aligned with those of the Board of Directors and our shareholders."
"With the introduction of our Zelda Horticulture subsidiary, the Company is even better positioned to drive significant long-term shareholder value." Mr. Lien continued, "Zelda is a core component to driving revenue now and in the future. This division will diversify Solis Tek's revenue streams and deepen our relationships with commercial and hobbyist growers. As we have structured it, Zelda leverages the same sales and distribution channels as its core lighting vertical. In addition, the lighting division recently launched new products including the Controller, to tremendous demand."
Prior to founding Solis Tek, from 2006 to 2009, Mr. Lien was the Chief Operating Officer for A&A Lien Enterprise, a 20 year old export/import company located in Taipei, Taiwan with a focus in sporting equipment. Well-known customers that were served by A&A Enterprise include: Mitre, Umbro, Diadora, Louisville Slugger, Franklin, Diamond and more. During his tenure as the Chief Operating Officer for A&A, Mr. Lien supervised the development of new manufacturer relationships, purchasing and client development, as well as oversaw quality control and trade show participation. Mr. Lien received his BS in Marketing from Monmouth University.
Detailed information on the changes in management is contained in a Current Report on Form 8-K filed by the company.

Solis Tek Subsidiary Zelda Horticulture Broadens Its Commercial Offering with Neutralizer Plant Wash

    MarketwiredFebruary 20, 2018

CARSON, CA--(Marketwired - February 20, 2018) - Solis Tek, Inc. (SLTK), a vertically integrated technology innovator, developer, manufacturer and distributor focused on bringing products and solutions to commercial cannabis growers in legal markets across the U.S., today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Zelda Horticulture has launched its Neutralizer plant wash, marking Zelda's second commercially available product.
Neutralizer is a plant-derived, proactive plant wash made from all natural ingredients, which helps growers prevent and eradicate pest, fungus and mold infestations. Neutralizer will be available at hundreds of hydroponic stores nation-wide currently stocking and selling other Solis Tek/Zelda products, as well as through select e-commerce sites. Neutralizer expands Zelda's commercial portfolio, which includes its terpene enhancer Terpenez™, and supports Zelda's mission to provide cannabis cultivators with access to all-natural nutrients and other solutions to help cannabis cultivators maximize the yield and quality of their grows.
"We are excited to launch Neutralizer and to provide growers with an alternative to chemical-laden IPM (integrated pest management) tools which can be carcinogenic," said Alan Lien, Chief Executive Officer of Solis Tek. "In contrast, Zelda's Neutralizer offers an effective alternative which contains no ingredients that are banned in states like California, leveraging essential oils to help growers prevent and manage pest, fungus and mold infestations as part of their daily or weekly routine and, in higher doses, to minimize a pest, fungus or mold infestation."
Mr. Lien added, "The expansion of Zelda's product line is a key component to Solis Tek's overall strategy to provide a broad suite of products and services targeted at the commercial cannabis industry. Specifically, Zelda Horticulture represents a compelling growth opportunity for Solis Tek, as nutrients carry higher margins compared with the lighting vertical. In addition, its products will be sold through the same robust and well-established sales and distribution channels as its lighting products, while providing recurring revenues from repeat orders throughout a plant's growth cycle, as compared with the longer sales cycle associated with the lighting vertical. Lastly, like the lighting division, the Zelda line does not result in Solis Tek 'touching the plant,' which should be less subject to any future changes in the regulatory environment regarding the cultivation and sale of cannabis products."
