Jimmie Walker and Ann Coulter are dating? That’s the “dyno-mite” bombshell dropped by former “Good Times” creator Normal Lear.
Walker, known as JJ on the hit TV series “Good Times,” and Coulter, known as the conservative activist who appears on cable TV news channels, would seem an unlikely match. In TV terms, they might best be described as “The Odd Couple.”

Not so, says Lear, who broke the news about the Walker-Coulter relationship on an interview with “blackish” creator Kenya Barris for Entertainment Weekly.
When asked about Walker — who’s catchphrase was “dyno-mite” on “Good Times” — Lear revealed his own explosive news.
“I love him; he’s a wonderful guy,” Lear said of Walker. “But I’ll tell you something about him that’ll astound you: He dates Ann Coulter.”
Barris couldn’t believe the news.
“… And for sometime. And I am as serious as I can be,” Lear says. “I spent an evening at the same table with them, so I know.”
Lear, known as a longtime liberal who founded the progressive group “People for the American Way,” admitted he wasn’t sure about the planned dinner with Walker and Coulter — because of her right-wing views. His wife wanted to cancel the event, Lear admitted. But he said he was pleasantly surprised by Coulter.
Lear said, “Ann Coulter was a dreamy, delicious, sweet person.”
If another one of Lear’s other sitcom characters, Maude, were around today, she might say of that comment, “God’ll getcha for that, Norman!”

Late 80's early 90's Jimmy was a regular at the Stardust sports book. Was in there every day. He loved hanging there with all the regular degenerates. Had not seen jimmy in a few years and i stopped in to the tiny Tropicana sports book looking for a number one afternoon and Jimmy was sitting in the back all by himself. That was around the year 2000.
