Blue Grass

Going with the longest shot in the race.

#6 Irap

A maiden running with winners. Is the only horse to have previously run today's distance, a mile and an eighth, and a fast 1:48 it was. Taking the blinkers back off. Should be the only speed in the race. If rhe other jockeys dismiss him on the front end he could steal this race. Jockey improves to Leparoux. Good Cali trainer, Doug O'Neil. They think they can win or they would never have shipped him to Kentucky.

Don't bet the rent but he's a good 30/40-1 horse. Worth a flyer and using him in exotics.

Sorry. That should say "Wood Memorial" for the Aqueduct 3yo prep. Must be dreaming of Saratoga already and the Woodward.

Mo Town

Two important "onlys". Only horse to run at today's distance of 1 1/8. And only horse to have won at today's track, Aqueduct. There is a lot of speed in this race. Mo Town has come off the pace in all of his four starts. He ran a clunker when returning to the races in late February after his winter break. Expecting much improvement here as he runs down the speed horses in the lane.

Taking a shot with this horse who ran his best Beyer in his last. He has only had two dirt races. The other four were failed attempts on the turf. But he has shined in his only two on dirt. In his first dirt he was running down today's favorite, Iliad at 6f but came up short by 3' lengths in second. Today's distance is 1 1/8 miles. Plenty of time to catch him today.

Good luck.

Thanks guys.

It takes patience to play the way I play. I don't let the odds dictate my preferences. Rather I look at the odds to assure me of an overlay after I've done my handicapping. I throw away a lot of tickets. I've now got thirty tickets to throw away and I can still show a profit. I can assure you that I'll have at least a few winners within the next thirty tickets. Patience.

Good luck.
