LA DODGERS

- The Dodgers had a slow start with 3-3. Losing today, LA a title contender, would have a negative record, nothing dramatic according that the season has just begun, but surely LA didn't expect such a beginning of season.

- On the 6 games of this 2017 season, the Dodgers average 5 runs per game, the opponents average 2.67 per game.

- Kenta Maeda starts for the Dodgers. It is the second start of the season for the Japanese Ace 2 of the Dodgers. He had a 4-0 loss (3.54 ERA) at home over the Padres, when he gave up three runs on six hits, two walks, 4 K's over five innings. Last year he posted a 3.48 ERA, 16-11.

- LA has a deep roster with a mix of players that can easily hit the other way, and others that can reach often and run the bases, also they can play defense extremely well.

- LA lost the the first 2-games of these 3-games series in Denver, last Friday 1-2 and yesterday 2-4 with the the Kershaw loss. Only 12 hits and 1HR in two games for the Dodgers, while allowing 15 hits and 4 HR to the Rockies.

- Tomorrow the Dodgers will fly to Chicago to play the Cubs on a 3-games series and depending how tough is to play the Cubs, this series finale in Denver should be very important for the Dodgers.

COLORADO ROCKIES

- The Rockies had a brilliant start posting a 5-1 record in the first 6-games of this 2017 season. Everybody knows that the Rockies can hit the ball the other way. The problem is that they can't pitch as good sa the other top teams and it's not easy to win games all the time by scoring plenty of runs.

- On the 6 games of this 2017 the Rockies average 3.67 runs per game, the opponents average 3.33 runs per game.

- Tyler Anderson starts for the Rockies. It is the second start of the season for him. He had a 6-5 away win over the Brewers (7.94 ERA), giving up five runs on eight hits, only a walk while striking out 8 over 5.2 innings. Last year he posted a 3.54 ERA, 5-6.

- The Rockies can surely very easily hit the other way with at least 4-5 players, with a lot of power to get plenty of HR's. The problem is that they can't pitch well and it's not easy to score plenty of runs every single day, mostly when you go down on the score.

- Colorado won the opening series at Brewers(3-1) and won as well the first two games over the last couple of days against the Dodgers, pitching quite well for their standards.

- The Rockies will play a 3-games series starting tomorrow against the Padres in Denver.

BETTING KEYS

Despite the very different records, 3-3 for the Dodgers and 5-1 for the Rockies, LA averages more runs batted in, while allowing less runs than what the Rockies do.

The Dodgers can pitch overall way better and Maeda-Anderson is a no contest for Los Angeles.

Maeda doesn't have plenty of power, but can work on his pitching to avoid the Rockies to hitting hard the ball in the middle. For the Dodgers to make a great game before flying to Chicago to play the Cubs should be very important. While will be easier for the Rockies that will play the Padres and these things on the Regular Season, when teams play almost every day, have a huge importance.

We expect a great game for the Dodgers lineup against Anderson and Maeda as well can handle the Rockies lineups.

Best Regards
