SEATTLE MARINERS

- The Mariners had another slow start with 2-7. Cano, Cruz, Valencia, a lot of powerful hitters that can go deep for the Mariners, but big troubles on the pitching rotation, with only Felix Hernandez that gives the Mariners some regular high standards.

- On the 9 games of this 2017 season, the Mariners average 3.67 runs per game, the opponents average 4.22 per game. For a 2-7 records, definitively not a big difference between the runs batted in and the runs allowed.

- Yovani Gallardo 0-1 (5.40 ERA) starts for the Mariners. It is the second start of the season for Gallardo. He lost his first game of the season to the Angels, allowing three runs, on eight hits, two walks, 4 K's over five innings. Last year with the Orioles he posted a 5.42 ERA, 6-8.

HOUSTON ASTROS

- The Astros had a decent start posting a 5-4 record in the first 9-games of this 2017 season. Houston has a mix of players that can get often in base and can run them pretty fast and at least 2-3 players like Beltran, Reddick and Springer that can go deep.
Besides having Altuve, they don't have a real start, but they play a collective baseball.

- On the 9 games of this 2017 the Astros average 3.11 runs per game, the opponents average 3.89 runs per game.

- Mike Fiers 0-1 (1.50 ERA) starts for the Astros. It is the second start of the season for him. He pitched good on his first start of the season, but he didn't get any support from Houston's offensive lineup and he took a loss allowing two runs (one earned), on 5 hits, three walks, while striking out 3 over 6 innings on a 5-1 loss against the Royals. Last year he posted a 4.48 ERA, 11-8.

BETTING KEYS

Despite the very different records, 5-4 for the Astros and only 207 for the Mariners, the numbers are very close for both teams, not much of a difference.
Seattle can go way easier deep, Houston gets more to the bases.

Yovani Gallardo didn't had much luck last year, but in our opinion is a very underestimate starter and on his first game at home will try to get back with a nice performance. On the other side we don't like much Fiers on this game and we believe Cano/Cruz can go deep against him.

We expect a great game for the Mariners lineup against Fiers, despite the slow start the mariners have quality and tonight for them is a very crucial game to avoid going 2-8.
