we have a Canadian here commenting on American politics and bitching? Lol.

Trumps best eat interest have been to make his companies and brands as profitable as possible. Specifically the textile industry, it must go over seas to compete in Department stores and box stores. So sure, his went over seas and the previous regimes, Obama, bush, Clinton, allowed him to do so with tax incentives and tax breaks. But you weren't bitch then? Too many team players showing their heads and ignorance.

Also, before you hang trumps brands, you should learn what it takes for a product to be called American made. There are some real good examples out there like a men's tie, it will be transported sometimes 3-4 times in the mnfg process before its packaged to be sold. Mnfg threads in foreign country, send threads to America to be colored/died, send back to a different country to be stitched, send to America to be labeled, send back to a different foreign country (most likely Mexico here where the two previous trips where assign countries) for packaging/distribution. You now have an American tie... Just plain stupid.

Previous regimes, Obama and previous made it so difficult to be competitive in the American market place on items manufactured here. Trump is trying to make that better so companies of all kinds will bring mnfg back. Not that hard to see, but many are such team players that since he isn't "their team" they can't think critically and independently. Goes for both sides actually
    You seem Very Knowledgeable

So what should I do to be a right thinking American? (I am US citizen but frequently post from my nephew's spare guest room in Toronto)

If I boycott donnie and ivanka's assembly line crap and only buy costume trinket jewelry and overpriced women's shoes&accessories from American businesses, am I being disloyal to our Tremendous POTUS?

Or am I better off directing my disposable income for cheaply bottled wines with exxagerated taste to donnie trump wine etc since at least it might get me a discount on hotels in West Palm Beach?

You you are moving the goal post. I never said you should or should t buy his products because he's POTUS. I make purchases everyday based on my loyalty or believes of the company selling, so I would expect and think nothing less of an individual making purchases based on their political beliefs.

What at I was saying and you seemingly either missed it or I said it poorly, was you can't derate Trumps buy American movement based on some of his business models, like textiles. Textiles are juggled between countries to get a made in American blessing. But in all actually, more of that product is handled and labored over in foreign countries than America.

And if im a business owner that is importing products to be sold. I then get elected based on getting more goods made locally, well I'm going to follow through will my electro on promise. Each and every industry is different, you can't judge him based on the textile industry. Trump is very in trenches in lower cost huge margin industries, those aren't coming back to America, sorry! Americans won't work for $8-$12 an hour and be reliable. So you aren't going to get a manufacturing facility making suits from thread in America to mass produce to fill the demand of your local department stores and box stores! Now, industries I do fully expect to be back in America and if not for govnemental politics would still be here are larger things, like automobiles, hvac industry, aland construction equipment.

Your impassioned speech was gaining a bit of steam until "trump is in the trenches" triggered convulsive lolz throughout the audience

He will need to increase his average work hours per week a bit from first 13 week average of just under 33 before he can rightfully deemed entrenched on any one topic outside twitter

Actually, my generous iphone changed in-depth to trenches for whatever reason. But really either way makes the same point. Trump is in fact entrenched in lower cost huge margin industries. That isn't debatable, it's easy to prove. I never said anything about his average work hours or anything of the sorts. It is embarrassing that someone that can't comprehend what my above quoted post says is able to vote and be let lose in society, but then again it become rampant among this world today. It is becoming vastly easy in today's world to detect bias and reading comprehension failures. It's sad honestly.

    Rich is a relative term.

Sure Trump was born rich and inherited a few million but he parlayed those millions into billions - one of the most famous billionaires on the planet.

Too bad Trump isn't a community organizer.

it's funny how they mock and worry about people getting wealthy in the business world

but worship and admire community organizers who became multi-MILLIONAIRES IN POLITICS (nothing to see here)

Actually, it's an extremely happy state of affairs. Two of the worst political trolls were banned recently, one of them yesterday.
