Certainly looks like the beginning of the end of an era for the Hawks. Tough to maintain that kind of dominance for very long these days.

Nashville took it to us. Thoroughly outplayed in every phase. Has to feel good for them cause we have been their boogeyman for years now.

I think the most apt comparison for this is the Bulls/Celtics series.

Nashville is no more legit than the Bulls are, spanking the 1 seed as an 8.

The Hawks just had a lot of holes, like the Celtics do.

There is a reason Nashville was barely 500. They do seem to be peaking at the right time though.

This was actually a "rebuild" year for the Blackhawks.

IIRC, the preseason odds leaned toward them NOT making the playoffs, or at least there was great value in them making the playoffs.
