The Cleveland Browns made three picks in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft, but a quarterback was not among them.

Instead, it appears the Dawg Pound went barking up a familiar tree with disappointing results.


The Browns inquired yet again about trading for New England Patriots backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, but were denied once more, per Adam Schefter of ESPN:

You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take, but at this point, the Browns are better off going for more of a layup than a half-court prayer.
