Pittsburgh needs better play from their named batters badly, plus a SS that can hit. Which Arizona will go about and abuse these weaknesses. Pittsburgh is also sinking towards the bottom of their division and a bad stretch as well, as Andrew McCutchen and Jordy Mercer can't hit a beach ball right now.

If "on base master" Brandon Drury, could actually hit the stands it would be blowing peoples minds. Pittsburgh is not doing it very well on the whole - and they are scraping by to get 2-3 runs most days. I think the UNDER is the best play in this game on Thursday.

I'm recommending a play on the Orioles on Thursday with Bundy over Cole. Dylan Bundy appears to be the real deal with seven quality starts and a 5-1 record and 2.17 ERA. Baltimore has won six of those starts and in the other one Bundy left after 6 1/3 innings after allowing only three runs and seven hits against Boston. Bundy had one appearance against the Nationals last year and gave up two runs in six innings. Baltimore lost 7-6 last night but still has won eight of the last 10 meetings and Wednesday's loss snapped a six-game winning streak for the Orioles. A.J. Cole made his first start of the season and gave up one run and six hits in six innings, but he's coming off a season when he made six starts and gave up 22 earned runs in 38 1/3 innings, including four runs in seven innings against the Orioles. Baltimore has won 25 of its last 34 interleague games and 20 of the last 28 meetings with Washington. We'll back the Orioles on Thursday. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.
