Hi,

Wondering if anyone has any tips for consistent success with betting bases. What type of stats do you find most important? What are some of the best websites to look at in your opinion? Thanks for the feedback.

I use Sportsoptions for all my information plus Odds/lines, etc.

To Me, Pitching is Key. So I look at what the starting pitchers have done in their last 3, then check their Away vs. Home stats
and in Baseball it's a lot about the Streak. meaning I'm not betting against a Team that has won 5,6,7 in a row. No matter Who they are facing.
If for any reason they are facing a Top Pitcher, I'll either bet small or stay away from the game.

just my 2 1/2 cents

Here's a inside tip! Bet on the Dodgers - today and the Reds +1.5

In the long run you will go broke faster than you think with this method.

Just stick to the money management .

Baseball can get you killed if you cap it like a square. Some of the important things that most cappers miss is the Bullpen use in the previous 3 games. Teams Bullpen strength. Pitcher type vs batter type. Some pitcher may have excellent era/whip as a successful grounball pitcher and if he faces a line up with batters who are good against groundball pitchers he get shelled...and other type of pitcher vs batter match up. pitcher type and batting line up type vs park factors. Baseball is for the sabermetrists. Its one of the easiest sport to profit if you know what you are doing but its also easiest sport to lose your bankroll if you bet like a square.

Recently I have a success with comparing the opening line with a power rating I use - if there is a large variation of $.15 points or more, I then track the overnight line movement.

Been working out well....

I look at about 10 stats or indicators to anaylze the outcome of each game. Baseball stats are online almost everywhere. It took me about 2 hours a day to handicap it manually having multuple webpages up. Ive created a program to scrape the stats/info I'm interested in predict a score for each game so that has reduced my analyzing time down to 45 minutes a day.

Spend some time on what stats are important and use them in your handicapping analysis.
