have any poster here been to key west in the last couple of yrs, im thinking of a 4 day getaway, just to get away for a few days by myself in a month or so and just wonder is it any good for a place to just chill for a long weekend

Key West sucks. It's nothing but a drunkfest, and $5 a drink at every bar. Tons of gays down there, too.

The Keys are awesome. You don't need to go to Key West, although you should if you haven't. Just the drive there, hopping key to key is worth it. Absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend it.
