I bet Phil to win the US Open at 40/1.. He's not playing .. 5dimes will not refund the bet.. Not even arguing that..shit happens.. But if everyone knows this , shouldn't 5Dimes take Phil off the board and not collect money from a player that's not even playing.. or have to pay out on . kind of greedy to me to keep odds up on a player that's not playing

What if he decides to play and your odds are great? Worth taking a shot?

Tough break for you. They should probably take it down, but if you bet on him now you deserve to lose your money.

tony from 5dimes ALWAYS does the right thing for his players in a quiet, classy
way and would NEVER take a shot or play an angle on them. when they
define the term gentleman gambler in wikipedia, they use tony's name and picture.

like I mentioned earlier , I'm not necessarily complaining about not getting refunded.. But with that said , if you aren't refunding the bet , take Phil off the board now.. pathetic to take in bets on a player that's not teeing off.. Now if he comes back and decides to play , put Phil back on the board.. I just don't respect a book for setting odds for a player that's not playing

  1. If the start of a round is delayed, or if play during a round is suspended, all pending wagers will remain valid for 48 hours. If the postponement lasts more than 48 hours, all pending wagers will be canceled and the monies refunded.

  2. Wagers on a golfer who does not play in the tournament are graded as No Action, and all monies refunded.

  3. A golfer is deemed to have played once he or she has teed off. In the event of a player withdrawing after having teed off, wagers on that player will be lost.
  4. Wagers will be settled using the official tournament and match results (including final match correct score and individual match betting). This includes a match which finishes early, either by agreement of the players or because of injury.

Like I said earlier, it's clearly listed as action regardless. The players know this going into the bet.

Same thing happened with Dustin Johnson and the Masters. He hurt his back and Will Hill in Vegas would not refund. On a side note I've been done with 5Dimes for about 6 months now. I had to cancel two credit cards due to getting fraudulent charges I know was due to them. Be done with them they aren't worth it.

I had a DJ ticket refunded at Westgate , but not WH... kinda weird that two different LV books have different views of what should be done
