I have mixed feelings about guys like this. Another famous free-climber died in the last year attempting something like this.

If this guy was my son, I wouldn't be encouraging what he is doing. At one point does it become a death-wish?

"death wish" implies - albeit perhaps gently - a fear of one's departing this plane of existence.

For those who astutely understand the life force to be never-ending, actions such as free climbing are not likely a death wish but rather are simply an amazing individual expression.

One can never truly be separated from God. All thoughts to the contrary are an illusion spawned by the ego
