So a few months ago, I got a call from the elementary school that fidget spinners are banned from school. I was like WTF is fidget spinner. Now these things are fucking everywhere, someone became a millionaire somewhere.

Sad story is the woman who invented them quite long ago is out millions (probably hundreds of millions) because she couldn't afford to patent them..

As an elementary PE teacher, they are extremely annoying. The last few months I was constantly getting asked to either pop the round steel pieces in or out by all the kids. I hope the damn things are uncool by August.

Damn kids need to go outside and play, ride a bike, build dirt mounds, swing from a tree , play in a creek

Get out and do something and u wouldn't need a damn fidgit spinner sitting around

I took my 12 yr old nephew fishing this evening and he loved it.

At least it is keeping the kids off electronics. But I also find it sad kids "need" to have their minds occupied without day dreaming and thinking on their own power.
