I heard from a friend about a stat in MLB and wanted to know if anyone can confirm the results.

In the last 25 seasons of MLB, if an AL team wins by 10 or more runs then you play them the next game. It was hitting at around 91%.

Can anyone verify this?

Question: 10 or more against another AL team or a NL team? Gonna be tough to dig it out, but I got access to the data.

It is only for an AL team that wins by 10 or more. Does not matter who they play.

It does not matter in the same series. If the AL team wins by more than 10 runs then you take them the next game period.

Let me correct that. If the AL team wins by 10 or more runs then you take them the next game period.

Yanks on deck and I assume that's who started the conversation as they won by 13 on Saturday and followed that up with a huge win yesterday.
