Baron Corbin -165 to win MITB Ladder Match

This is a steal price imo as it should be closer to -1000 and it might end up there before showtime. Like I mentioned recently, the company has big plans for this guy. Couple that with the historical booking of the winners of this match leading up into it. Historically speaking the person who won this match came into it on a losing streak as it is their way of throwing people off as to who has a legitimate shot to win. He has been on a bit of a losing streak taking the pin in the last few matches between the guys involved in this match.

Looking at the other competitors,

Shinsuke Nakamura (+360) while he might be over, it is too soon for this kind of a push & him not speaking good English does not help his cause as your main champ needs to be able to cut promos or have a mouth piece to do that. Plus he just finished Tuesday's Smackdown at the top of the ladder with the briefcase. Historically the person who came out on top in the go home show for an upcoming PPV usually lost at the PPV.

Sami Zayn (+700) has no shot imo. Besides his size, he is mainly a bumping machine for bigger stars. The fact he has been on a winning streak of lately is just to make it seem like he has a shot but no way they give him the win here.

Kevin Owens (+900) if he was not the US Champ, I would give him a shot in here. However being the current US Champ, I don't see them giving him the briefcase at this time. I actually think he will be keeping the US Title for a bit until he drops it to Shinsuke.

AJ Styles (+1000) this is the guy who scares me as he legitimately could have a case for being given this win. He is the most over guy on the brand & is a former WWE Champion. Plus if Jinder retains the belt, it would need to be a face for him to feud with & AJ fits the bill. The only problem is Cena is supposedly going to feud with Jinder soon so where is their room for AJ in the title feud. Plus to be honest they usually give the briefcase to someone who they are trying to get to the next level in terms of a push & AJ is way beyond needing it considering you could make the case he is the most over guy in the whole company.

Dolph Zigger (+3100) This man has ZERO shot at winning. They don't know what to do with him which is sad as he is one of the top 5 guys in the company in terms of work rate & having great matches with anyone. He is just there as another bumping machine & body for the match.

So Baron is the strong bet for me to win this match.

Carmella -145 to win Women's MITB Ladder Match

I personally don't think she should win but for some reason the company is obsessed with pushing her. No one else in the match you can make a legitimate case for outside of Charlotte Flair who I might just throw some cash on at +800. However with Naomi (ugh) expected to retain the title, you would assume a heel wins the ladder match & the only one in it who is a darling with the bookers it seems at this time is Carmella. Natalya always gets misused & Tamina never seems to get those kind of opportunities.

So Carmella it is for me but nowhere near as strong as Corbin

The talent today is vastly superior to the WWF days. However the booking is a big problem & the fact they lack true competition as no company can compete with them on a global scale.

both Carmella and Corbin :103631605

Thanks Slapshot!

I am glad they both came through as predicted. I was not surprised that in the main event it came down to Corbin winning it by knocking Nakamura & Styles down as it teased Nak winning from the way he finished up the go home Smackdown this past Tuesday & Styles who I told you is the most over guy in the company.

Either way I like easy money & tonight definitely had it for the taking!
