Havoc is the more talented one as he did a lot of their production. Prodigy is the one who passed. Sickle cell anemia at 42. They came up when queens bridge was hot in Queens, NY.. Early 90's. Nas, cormega, mobdeep, Capone & Norega.

Listened to all those guys in college.....RIP

The golden days are long gone. Now it is about who can make the catchiest songs with as little words as possible. 6 word songs.

Molly, percocet, molly, molly, percocet.

And that shits a hit now. There is far worse though now. Nas said it in like 2005....hip hop is dead. He saw it coming and everyone got pissed at him for saying what he saw coming.

Who am I to say what someone should like. But imo the direction that rap has taken over the last decade has ruined the perception of hip hop classics. People classify them as the same things because of what they hear from time to time currently. But really it is two different times and genres. I agree rap music is complete trash. Only two or three artists still make music like they used to. Scarface is one of them. Deeply rooted was another great album.

I respect his craft 100%. He's different and different sells. He reminds me of a black Eminem. Because of how witty and creative he is. I honestly liked his older shit more because now he's a little too mainstream for my liking or way off the map, like his second album. Not one of my favorite rappers. But I respect him. He's unquestionably the best rapper at the moment though as far as todays generation.

But that "Be humble" video had some dope scenes
