In addition to declining pools ...etc.... I have heard many negative comments about operations, pools, not able to get clear info whether a race will be on/off the turf and many other things mentioned makes me wonder why people even bother spending the energy, money and time to be involved anymore

their money back specials for 2nd and 3rd are fantastic for small players like myself. was great betting the entire ascot card with that promo, and they have 2 more tracks doing it right now

What exactly are you talking about?

TVG by far has one of the best operations going. They have some of the best people in the industry working for them and their information is top notch. Not sure what your point was after the "makes me wonder" what are you referring to? One other thing when they are broadcasting live from the track and showing tracks broadcasts how hard is it to see if a race is on or off the turf? Weather alone dictates that. You sound like a rookie that know nothing about horse racing nonetheless TVG.

They run great promos and do a ton for the sport..even if the rewards program sucks they do a ton for a sport that's pretty much hopeless

Thanks for the feedback, sorry I wasn't clear I was looking for you to comment on the industry as a whole not TVG. What do you like or dislike of the industry currently? I hear many negative comments around the racebooks in nevada and from regular horse players i know well about bad customer service, lack of communication and other frustrations around the current horse racing industry. I think some complaints are more related to Nevada since they don't take all tracks and depending where you go you don't always get sound on the tvs/monitors so people are missing changes and other information as the card progresses. Some racebooks have one teller open with no automated terminals. Players in Nevada cannot signup to TVG or other online accounts. So in and out of Nevada the environment can be different. No I'm not a regular horse player but like the industry. I don't like seeing the progressive decline in the sport the last 20+ years.

Takeout rates are awful, rules that aren't across the board, lack of technology, breakage, tracks running on top of each other, wins taxed inappropriately, bad customer service, too many tracks, too few horses...the list could go on forever
